注意事项:
1. Consistent frame rate.
This is critical for Cachya to work properly. Most webcams can perform in a relatively consistent frame rate in certain predefined modes. We suggest you to disable all auto-settings最好关闭摄像头所有的自动功能,能关则关。.
2. CPU hit
Most CPU power is consumed by webcam driver and its supporting softwares. Majority of the webcams make use of video compression algorithm to handle the chunk of data. But decoding algorithms are usually CPU hungry. Some webcams support USB2.0 high speed connection (high speed USB 2.0 is different from USB2.0 compatible 选择高速USB2.0非兼容型2.0 !), and claim that they support uncompressed data transfer视频数据要求非压缩方式传输,官方推荐I420,非RGB24。; this is possible but you got to try it by yourself.
3. FPS number
Cachya can handle low video frame rate very well, but high frame rate will improve its response time. Buck5125(论坛用户ID,不用发挥) is right, 15-20 is OK, 30 is desired 15-20FPS可以正常使用,30FPS达到完美.
4. Resolution
Cachya is optimized for mid-resolution video stream, typically 320x240. Higher resolution doesn't really help much but will consumes much more CPU resource 分辨率推荐320*240,高了除烧CPU资源,没什么实际性能提升.
For Low resolution webcam device(typically 160x120), we recommend the bigger hat sign. Actually, it is not a bad idea to use low resolution webcam plus a bigger sign, since it put less burden to CPU 低分辨率,典型值160*120,需要用更大的面板(头上顶的那个),低分辨率用起来也不赖,可以减少CPU不少负担,机器配置低的推荐.
5. Interface
As mentioned above, USB 2.0 offers much higher bandwith than USB1.0, so is prefered for video applications. 再次建议用USB2.0接口
Don't foget, Cachya can work with almost any video capture device 软件支持几乎所有的视频捕获设备. You can even use a TV tunner as video input device as long as you can generate proper signal! It has been reported that DV camera with 1394 interface works great in some applications某些程序使用经1394接口接收DV捕获的视频,定位起来很不错. So, be creative! |
