If the target is at an elevation higher than the current aircraft altitude (target on a hill
higher than
your current altitude
for instance), the system cannot generate proper target a
ltitude and a “CCIP
INVALID” message will appear on the HUD.  To attack such a target accurately, you have two
options:
1.
Increase altitude above target altitude
2.
Switch to 4/8/12 Gun Reticle or 4000
